SUMMARY:THE AGENTS
DESCRIPTION:BOOK TICKETS ONLINE HERE \nSandton babes\, it’s finally your turn! Smash hit play ‘The Agents’ by Robaby Productions returns to Johannesburg in October 2026. Back by popular demand\, this time your favourite realtors are taking over Sandton Theatre on the Square. \nIf you haven’t yet met the unforgettable characters of Venter\, Linda\, and Brenda\, then you’re in luck. This Fleur du Cap – nominated ensemble shine as a trio of deliciously devious\, over-the-top estate agents willing to say and do anything for their next sale. \nNo one is safe from ‘The Agents’ hilariously sharp critiques. From slick property influencers to clueless home buyers to neighbourhood watch groups (yes\, you know the ones…)\, they gleefully tear apart the cut-throat world of property development\, gentrification\, luxury estate living and the Capitalist dream itself. \nWritten and performed by Kyla Davis\, Lisa Derryn Overy\, and Roberto Pombo\, and directed by physical theatre legend Toni Morkel\, ‘The Agents’ is the outrageous satirical comedy we deserve. \nDescribed as a ‘smart play\, with a superbly crafted script and zany performances’\, ‘The Agents’ features expert clowning\, mime\, and physical comedy in a contemporary satire that ‘zips and thrusts’ (The Cape Robyn\, 2024). \nSo\, put in that offer now for a cringeworthy cautionary tale that will leave you laughing hysterically while questioning the price of the dream you’ve just been sold. \nRave reviews for ‘The Agents’: \n“Screamingly funny and entertaining!” – The Cape Robyn \n“A masterclass in consummate physical theatre… exceptional performances!” – artSMart \n“I have not laughed so hard in a long time. Not so much triggered as fired from the canon. ” – The Critter \n“One of the best satirical comedies I have watched.” – The Witness \nBOOK TICKETS ONLINE HERE
