Start 2025 on a high note with TANDEM 2, a vibrant musical collaboration featuring Francois le Roux (HA!MAN) and Rexleigh Bunyard. These two celebrated musicians bring you a one-of-a-kind performance blending timeless classics, fiery tangos and spontaneous improvisations.

Seventeen years after their creative spark ignited at the Theatre on the Square, they return with a repertoire that includes Spiegel am Spiegel of Arvo Part, Oblivion and Fracanapa of Piazzolla and Armando’s Rhumba of Chick Corea.

Their own compositions are reflective, lighthearted, and uplifting, and they will improvise together, individually, and with the audience in the interactive game, “You Start“.

The theatre has presented and produced this uplifting music programme for all, with leading local and international musicians for the last 15 years. It prides itself on being the only venue in Gauteng to host such regular weekly daytime concerts. Concerts take place every Friday at 1pm & unreserved tickets are available at the theatre from 12.30 on the day.
