Following its highly successful and sold-out season earlier this year, we are thrilled to announce the triumphant return of the renowned South African play, NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH. Presented by Sello Maake KaNcube and Daphne Kuhn, the production, written by the acclaimed playwright John Kani, will return to the Theatre on the Square in Sandton, starting from the 3rd October, and will run for three-weeks.
Starring the exceptional and multi award-winning stage, screen, and TV actor Sello Maake KaNcube, NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH promises to be an unforgettable theatrical experience. Supported by two brilliant young actresses, Mbali Nhlapo and Ziaphora Dakile, this stellar cast will bring John Kani’s classic work to life.
NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH, which made its world premiere at the Market Theatre in 2002, has been hailed as a contemporary South African masterpiece and has even become a matric setwork. Written by the renowned actor and playwright John Kani, the play delves into the intricacies of family relationships, exploring themes of sibling rivalry, exile, memory, reconciliation, and the complexities of freedom.
