MUSICAL CHAIRS is the brainchild of The Locksmiths Collective: a multi-disciplinary theatre making duo made up of SIPHO DIDIZA and GENESIS SHIRINDZA, collaborating with the HERA duo, AURELIE STRATTON and MEGAN CARELSE. MUSICAL CHAIRS is a story of how we as society interact with social media. Using the premise of a childhood game, the story blends traditional theatre, physical theatre and dance to highlight different parts of the online world we live in today; from the power dynamics, trends and even how we find love.
