MIMI SINGS MIMI with AMIRA WILLIGHAGEN (soprano) and CHARL DU PLESSIS (piano)

Amira is affectionately known as “Mimi,” and her fascination with Kammersängerin Mimi Coertse has led to this tribute concert: MIMI SINGS MIMI. The programme will also include a variety of songs and well-known arias from operas and operettas. AMIRA WILLIGHAGEN will be accompanied by pianist and Steinway artist CHARL DU PLESSIS, who serves as the musical director for this duet performance.

The theatre has presented and produced this uplifting music programme for all, with leading local and international musicians for the last 15 years. It prides itself on being the only venue in Gauteng to host such regular weekly daytime concerts. Concerts take place every Friday at 1pm & unreserved tickets are available at the theatre from 12.30 on the day.
