THE EMERGING ARTIST INITIATIVE, in partnership with the SOUTH AFRICAN FLUTE FESTIVAL,showcases three of South Africa’s most exciting young flautists – JESSE JARDIN, TAHLITHA PIENAAR, and GABRIELLA CLAASSEN.

Joined by acclaimed pianist EUGENE JOUBERT and flautist DR COBUS DU TOIT, this vibrant lunchtime concert features sparkling works by Gary Schocker and Catherine McMichael.

The theatre has presented and produced this uplifting music programme for all, with leading local and international musicians for the last 15 years. It prides itself on being the only venue in Gauteng to host such regular weekly daytime concerts. Concerts take place every Friday at 1pm & unreserved tickets are available at the theatre from 12.30 on the day.
